So ebay is starting to ask for payment before auctio s.
How will this impact our snipes? |

They have asked for a payment method on offers for a while now.
In that case all it means is that the payment is processed as soon as the seller accepts the offer.
There's no reason to presume it would be any different for auctions.
It does mean you may well have to register that payment method with Ebay independently of your use of Gixen though, otherwise bids are likely to get rejected once they have fully rolled this out. _________________ Mark

I noticed that when I go to make a bid, it ask you confirm payment before I can enter my auction bid.
If, it's not a problem, than okay. Just figured I bring it up since it this seem new for auctions. I know it's been that way for or best offer, but sniping is a little different since it's done last few seconds. |

Well, I'm not certain there won't be some related issue, of course.
However, please note that Gixen does not use the same, web page based, interface that you do, to place your snipe. The permission that you provided to place bids on your behalf is used to submit the bid directly to Ebay servers. _________________ Mark |
