I was just wondering if Gixen can work with other auction sites like Delcampe.
Most of the items I buy are postage stamps and Delcampe is a great site for them.

Unfortunately not, Ebay only.
There has never been enough demand to justify the considerable effort involved in developing and supporting any other site.

I sent an inquiry to delcampe to see if they would agree to this and expose some buyer API that Gixen could use. I am not sure, however, that they even have one, I've only seen some sellers' API.
I am not willing to use web scraping to add support for delcampe, especially if they are opposed to it. |

It is an indication that they, at least, discourage snipeing a bit more than Ebay does.
This and other sites were discussed, briefly, way back in 2008.

I emailed them and asked for an interface I could use - they replied that they are not interested. Then I asked them if they would mind if I used web scraping, and so far received no response.
Since they use time extensions, not sure how much sense it makes anyway, especially as they don't have nearly as much volume as eBay. |
