New Gixen Desktop Manager

I downloaded the new zip file for GixenDesktopManager over the week-end from this site. I am surprised that Windows Defender (Win 10) is warning me about the software.

Here is the warning: "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."

Should I be worried or not?

I think that, perhaps, in order to prevent Microsoft software from flagging up other software like this, these days, you might have to register the software with them and go through an accreditation process.

Personally, I didn't worry about it and selected the option to run it anyway, and I found that it only did it the first time I ran it after that it started cleanly without warnings.
