does gixen work even if i use ebay.it, it is the italian locale of ebay

Yes, Ebay accounts and listings are global.

You can also tailor how Gixen displays it's links and places the bids for you via the 'current country setting' and 'Ebay target site' sections on the 'Settings' page, Italy is an option for both of those.
