2 year subscription is not really 2 full years

I just renewed my subscription and for the first time selected the 2 year option. Today is July 16, 2022 - same I day I paid. Yet it shows my subscription ends July 6, 2024. Just curious why it's short 10 days of the 2 years?

I'm guessing here, but it might be because on most Ebay sites the maximum length of an auction is 10 days... so having the date set 10 days earlier gives Gixen the time to warn you that the subscription is about to run out while ensuring you can still enter mirrored snipes for all the auctions you find that end within 2 years.

Of course there are other ways to implement this, but this might be the most convenient.. like I say it's a guess, only Mario can give a definitive answer.
