|
|
I had a snipe set up for today on eBay UK which failed and is reporting:
ENDED (AUCTION END TIME CHANGED)
ebay item number: 175214351710
I'm wondering if this is because the UK changed to Daylight Saving Time last Sunday (from UTC to UTC+1)? |

No, it will be because, if you look at the listing itself, at the top:
'This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.'
As a slight aside, Gixen doesn't work in a manner in which time zones which vary due to daylight savings time changes can have any affect in it's operation. It basically works in the time frame which never alters. _________________ Mark |

Thanks. When I followed the link to the item, eBay redirected to another item so I couldn't see that it had been ended early (found it eventually)
Is there a page that explains the Gixen error messages?
I understand this one now. It was the word "changed" that confused me becaue I don't think it's possible to change an auction end time, only to end it early. In this case, "AUCTION TERMINATED BY SELLER" or similar would have been clearer. |
