Using a Gixen group set to stop bidding after 1 win. Multi-win group bidding is disabled

I won the first group on item 303791473773 Ended:Dec 06, 2020 , 12:11PM

The second item 124467055082 in the group was incorrectly bid by Gixen and won. Ended:Dec 06, 2020 , 12:14PM

Why was the second bid made?

I suspect that those two auctions were just too close together for Gixen to be able to cancel the second snipe after detecting that it had won the first.

The process of sniping an auction starts a few minutes before the auction actually completes.

Thanks for your reply. The GIXEN rules says GIXEN needs 2 minutes...I was within 3 minutes.

Group bids can be used for items that do not have end times within 2 minutes of each other.

I'll be more careful.

Here is what happened - your other snipe, 124467055082 was indeed cancelled when you won 303791473773. However then you edited that snipe, 124467055082, 163 seconds before auction end. At that point 303791473773 was already irrelevant, and you re-instated the group with 124467055082 only in it.

I hope this makes sense.
