Is gixen.com successful operating for ebay.de, ebay.co.uk and ebay.com?

Short answer is Yes.

If you primarily use sites other than .com you might want to change some of the defaults on the settings page to specifically target a site closer to home. It's not essential though, Gixen will automatically switch to those sites when it is necessary in order to place a bid for you.

Yes, you can control where your bid is sent to, or you can just leave the default settings, which is what I recommend at first.

Well there is one challenge, and that is when an auction is only open for users from specific country.

I have experienced that the seller allowed me to participate in an auction that originally was open only for registered users from
on specific country, but when Gixen went on sniping it failed, because the auction did not allow me to bid since my ebay account was registered in another country.

After what i understand the seller can give you access manually, often i just test with a bid to check if the auction allow me. You can also get around it by changing adress in your ebay account to a phony address in the country that you want to bid....this is a bit more dodgy, and probably not recomended or enhanced by ebay...

what i would like to know was if you can change the settings in gixen to the country you want to bid in and that this will give you an access regardless of the settings given by the seller.

you must excuse my english, not easy to explain this matters in a foreign language

regards eirik

Unfortunately not. Gixen allows you to select the ebay country site that will be used to submit the snipe ("target" setting), but Gixen can't change your registration information (country in which your ebay account is registered).
