Will gixen bid "against yourself??"

My question is, will gixen bid against yourself. Example you place a small bid to "remove" the by it now feature, but enter an amount in gixen so you are not outbid. As you may be the current bidder, will gixen effectively bid against yourself?

Your gixen bid will be placed just before the auction ends.

Provided that you have placed that snipe with the same eBay ID as the one which you first bid with, if you are still the high bidder then the new bid will appear but the price will not increase (unless someone else bids, of course). This is a feature of eBay itself.

So, in summary, you are safe doing what you suggest without the risk that it will cost you anything extra.
