Hi,
I'm new to al this sniping.
Now I was woundering the following (I've read trough the faq and couldn't find the answer).
If I have the highest bid on an auction, can I place a snipe bid here on gixen.com? I suppose it is possible, but I'm just woundering what happens when I have the highest bid when the snipe will take place (or is my sniping bid gonna bid against my own bid?)
I would like to place a snipe just to be sure.
thanks in advance |

Remember that placing a snipe bid is no different than placing an earlier bid, except for the timing. If you already have a bid placed, eBay allows you to place another bid, as long as it is higher. Note that this will not raise the current price of the auction, since that is determined by the second highest bid; thus, you cannot bid against yourself.
So, yes, you can place a snipe bid from Gixen if you are already the high bidder, as long as it is higher than your existing bid. _________________ John
