I've just had 3 snipes fail to register. Had sniped 5 items from same seller but won only 2 being the only bidder on those 2. My snipes on the other 3 were well above the end sold prices and all 3 had existing bids on them. Reason given in the gixen summary was \"BID BELOW ASKING PRICE\"

Please can you provide the auction numbers and your snipe values of the 3 auctions where the snipe bids were not placed.

I had the same issue. eBay lot 336770337968, my maximum bid is way above the winning bid. I noticed Gixen entered my bids twice and the last one was the under bidder. I was OUTBID !!

I had a similar issue (eBay Australia). I was outbid on item 327334610019 even though my maximum bid was way above the final price. My max bid was $12.50, but it sold for $6.56. The bid history showed that I bid first at $5 (???) and then I had the underbid at $6.56.
.
By the way, I was not fully committed to winning this auction - if I was serious about trying to win the item, I would have gone another 50% higher with my max bid. The seller would have been completely unaware that they'd missed out on a much better result.

It looks like eBay reverted time extensions on eBay Australia (my guess). Bids are no longer extending end time, and Gixen counted on this.

I reversed the changes on Gixen, now it will work as it did before on eBay Australia. My apology for this, I really did not envision them going back, time extensions were supposed to stay.

Not sure why this happened - whether they are changing course or not, and what it could mean for time extensions in general.
