manual bid after gixen?

my first time on Ebay auction and Gixon so got really nervous. will bid a few seconds manually after Gixen adds some reliablity incase the Gixen one does not go through? or will it cause some error? thanks in advance!

If you actually bid the same or more than your snipe value and your manual bid reaches the Ebay server before the Gixen one you'll prevent the Gixen bid from getting accepted and receive a BID UNDER ASKING PRICE status on the snipe.

With that in mind there's no harm, so long as you make sure you're using the same Ebay account as you have authorised Gixen to place bids on.
