Credit Card Charged After Account Cancellation

I had to create another free account to post here as emails to support-at-gixen.com don't seem to be resolving my issue ... My prior paid account was closed before the renewal date, but I was subsequently charged an annual subscription even though the confirmation email said it would not be (I checked PayPal and I do not see anything saying I paid that way) ... I'm hoping this is the correct location to contact support ... Let me know if you can assist ... Thank you ...

So are you saying a charge was made to your credit card via Stripe ?

No idea where the charge came through ... I show a Jul 8 (cleared on JUl 8, submitted on Jul 7) charge of $7.75 to my credit card as \"WWW[.]GIXEN.COM OAKVILLE ON\" ...

What was the name of the Gixen account that it was supposedly credited to ?

Full info is in a Jul 7 email to your support email address (same address as your \"Your Gixen account is now closed\" email was sent from) ...

For other readers here, it would be helpful if before closing your Gixen account you cancelled any payment pledges made either via Paypal or Stripe. That's because Gixen doesn't make the payment requests it only acts when money is sent to it... that makes tracking down and blocking those payments from happening in the future more complicated to achieve than you might expect if Gixen were proactively asking for payments to be made.
