Hi,

I woke up this morning to find that the bank had stopped 2 renewal attempts from Gixen, awaiting confirmation that the transaction was genuine. I said it was but am unsure if my Gixen account is good to go or weather I'll suddenly find it reduced to a non-paid account. I have quite a few snipes soon so am a bit concerned. I could not find any info on my account to confirm status. How do I check?

The expiry date of your Mirror subscription is listed near the top of the first section of the Settings page.

A general rule of thumb is that if you can create a snipe, it will be honoured and executed at the end of the auction.

Any payments received by Gixen should result in a note being added to the the Settings page, listed as a transaction, near the bottom of the first section. Do you see anything with a recent date added there ?

Which payment processor are you using, Paypal or Stripe ?

Gixen doesn't make renewal attempts, your payment processor sends the funds as directed by the mandate you set up when creating the subscription. I guess that's just a technicality though, but an important one.

To add - there shouldn't be two. Maybe you subscribed twice in the past? If so, your account is probably overpaid and I should cancel one payment and pause another. Email me with your username, please.

CUPID - Thanks for the reply and information. Yes, there is a transaction history in settings. I use Paypal. I suspect my bank suspends any transactions it thinks are suspicious and I get a notification to confirm or reject payment. Not sure how long some businesses wait for payment.

If you are over subscribed, it may be that your payment processor still sends payments even when they are not needed to extend your Mirror subscription.

Since you originally mentioned two transactions being 'blocked' that's even more likely the case.

If that's the case you should email Mario, as he suggests, and he can help sort that out for you. Don't forget to include your Gixen id in all correspondence.
