Other Snipes Check?

Hi there,
I was thinking a few days ago (after being out-sniped on an item) would anyone consider the idea of an auto-check, when defining a snipe's parameters, if another Gixen user has also set up a snipe on the same item, and his/hers snipe is higher?

Maybe implement it as a premium only feature, or paid separately, but it would be a cool thing to do I think...

Such a feature would undoubtedly be regarded as auction tampering by Ebay.

As such it would certainly break their rules.

I suspect that under some jurisdictions it might even be challenged through the courts.

As well as potentially being illegal, it would be an utterly pointless thing to do.

The whole point of using a sniper is to bid the maximum that you would be happy to pay for the item. If somebody else (whether a Gixen user or not) is willing to pay more for the item, then you should either (1) be happy that you haven't overpaid for the item, or (2) have placed a higher snipe yourself.
