Up until just recently have had no problems but...
Using the Desktop Manager application in Windows 10 I am unable to add items, constantly getting the message:
Could not add item, API returned: ERROR (203): COULD NOT GET INFO FOR ITEM
If I sign on to Gixen.net either on the same PC or via iPad I have no trouble at all with adding editing bids.
Not 100% sure of when this started to happen but my suspicion is that it coincided with a recent Windows 10 update to the Windows 10 Creative Edition.
Can you suggest anything to enable Desktop Manager once again

I presume you are now using your Gixen credentials with the Desktop Manager ?
This will only get looked at more closely once everything is back on gixen.com next week. _________________ Mark |

Yes double checked Gixen credentials are same in Desktop Manager as when I sign in via the net.
I could be wrong of course but do have a strong feeling that this linked to Windows upgrade, maybe related to some change in the API? |

Make sure you are still running it on compatibility mode... but I suspect the problem lies elsewhere. _________________ Mark |

Thanks for your help on this. Tried all that I can think of including compatibility WIn 8 and even Win 7 no luck. So like you I suspect the problem elsewhere and likely within WIndows.
Hopefully this will be addressed in due course. In the meantime it is not a huge problem as going via the browser works just fine. |

It needs the most backwards compatibility you have available... back to Windows XP if possible. _________________ Mark |

Gixen Desktop Manager need a new version. The old one may or may not work with Gixen credentials. If not - please use the web interface until the new version is released. |

I recently posted regarding error 203. Now Even the gixen website will not allow me to add snipes. |
