I am seeing some too, yes... Unfortunately, I believe Mario may be busy elsewhere today. _________________ Mark |

I am looking at this, and still not sure what the root cause is. I kicked the database server in the meantime, and this seems to bring some relief, at least for a while to give me more time to figure out what is going on. |

I couldn't log into Gixen so I changed my password, taking out special characters, but I still am getting the same username and password do not match message. |

free511,
Issues with credentials are not what this thread was about.
Your issue is different.
I now advise people that change their password not to log into a service like Gixen for at least a day after the change.
This is because the activity of changing your password then logging in from a different location is one that Ebay find suspicious since it mimics what those trying to steal your account might do. Ebay then tend to take action to try to protect your account from compromise, which in turn prevents an automated service, like Gixen, from accessing your account.
Usually such action is temporary, so I now advise you to leave it at least one more day before trying to log in here again.
If after that the problem persists, please email Mario direct at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab, and please include your Ebay id in that email. _________________ Mark |

I changed my password because I was having a problem logging in after a period of successful use of Gixen. I did not change my password and then start having the problem. The password change solved the problem for awhile, then now I am having the same problem again.
The site gave me the following suggestion:
Quote: | Some special characters presented a problem for Gixen in the past. If you use an unusual character in your ebay password, please let us know what it is |
Thank you for your response. Your suggestions make sense. |
