Given not bidding the snipes error (3)

All of of a sudden over last few days gixens not bidding my snipes , a few I would have won but the bids I put in gixens were not done each one comes up error (3) , I have been a paid subscriber for years and only time I have had any issues , only thing I did different is change my eBay password a few weeks since , let us know

Unfortunately, changing credentials on Ebay does seem to make Ebay a bit more strict about what activity they allow on your account for a short while after doing it.

Is it 'ERROR (3)' as a status, on both the Main and Mirror tabs?

Is there no other explanation other than it being 'ERROR (3)', no links to select for additional information ?

It isn't a status I have seen reported here before, so perhaps this is new.

The bids aren't showing in the history on the full html status screen where the bid is its says unknown error (3) them theres a button under it it which says view info but if you push that it just takes you to the eBay login screen , I can bid on eBay normally as I've tried it , there's no strikes on my eBay account or anything like that , I've had a gixen paid subscription for quite a few years and had 100s of bids through it , so it's a weird one not sure what to try next I haven't altered any of my settings on my gixen either and it was a ok before

Getting the login screen again, late on in he process, usually indicates that Ebay want something from you.

Have you tried bidding manually specifically on any of these auctions? Doing that might throw up what Ebay is asking from you.

Otherwise if you can't trigger Ebay to do the same from your own computer you might need to set up the Gixen socks proxy (for instructions on how to do that please email Mario direct at the support address given on the Contact tab above) in your browser... and then attempting to place a bid... that way you get to see exactly what Gixen sees when it tries to place a bid for you, and there should then be instructions given on the Ebay page that you get that enable you to resolve the issue.

i have bid successfully on 2 different computers on ebay on ebay.co.uk and ebay.com on 2 seperate computers as well and it let me bid no problem with no verification needed , so im stumped

I think you were right mark for first time on my iPhone eBay app had the confirm your identity where eBay sends a text with a 4 digit pin did it and had a successful snipe again , it's the only thing where it came up confirm your identity on my iPhone eBay app , I'll update on here when more snipes are done to confirm but I think it's ok again
