That is the page that Ebay returns sometimes when it has a problem... its an eBay issue that I have seen quite frequently when I have been using their site recently, it is usually temporary but since gixen is biding in the last seconds of the auction there is no way for it to recover from what is an eBay failure in time to make the bid.
I think we might get a better answer if we asked on the eBay forums... I must admit I have not tried doing that yet.

| That usually happens when eBay is overloaded or some of their servers are down (more rare). |
