You should always set the snipe at the maximum you are willing to pay.
You may not have to pay that much though, Ebay only ever requires you to pay at most one bid increment more than the next highest bidder... or the reserve price (which is effectively just another bid, from the seller) whichever is higher.
You wouldn't want a system where Gixen only bid one increment more than the current auction price. Then you could potentially loose an auction at a price lower than you are wiling to pay, that would not be much use, would it? _________________ Mark |
