The main hosting facility had extensive problems today between 1.45 PM PST and 4.21 PM PST. Many snipes failed during this time with various error messages (network error, login timeout, etc).
My apology to affected users. Gixen mirror server was not affected by this, and snipes sent from mirror were all executed. |

| Snipes did fail in the mirror. I didn't win an item thru the snipe service. I did win it by entering my snipe manually (just in case the snipe didn't go thru) and there was no other snipe placed for me besides my manual one and the error was one of the errors about ebay being down. Last night gixen was also down for me. I wasn't able to get into the site for a couple hours. |

| Gixen main server was working fine during this time, only mirror was affected. When you place your bid manually, Gixen will not be allowed to place the same bid with ebay - only if it is higher than your manual bid. |

I'm confused... was it Main or Mirror snipes that were failing?
