Heads up. Gixen Desktop not working with Windows 10 Technical Preview. Cannot open socket.

Tried all that, and, tried "Run as Administrator". Same results.

Have you reported it to the Windows 10 technical review team, so that they can fix it before it is commercially released?

I'm sure all this needs is an adjustment to make it compatible with Windows 10 sockets. Is this something that needs to be done on your end, or Microsoft?

The problem could be that if you fix it for Windows 10 that it is then not compatible with earlier versions of Windows that many people still use.

Thus a better solution is for Windows to be made backwards compatible, that is, as far as I can tell, the purpose of having a 'Technical Preview' phase in the Windows development.
