Does the "current" dollar amount showing here on Gixen for an ended listing that shows WON BY MIRROR reflect what is supposed to be the winning bid amount?

The Ebay U.S. site shows the winning bid is 33.00 USD.

Here's what Gixen displays:

Item (141487828782)
2 Vintage Fire King Sealtest Cottage Cheese Tulip Milk Glass Bowls Green & Red (by marcotte6273)
ENDED 100.00 26.00 USD WON BY MIRROR

...so I gather the "Current Amount" showing now was what the auction amount was when I set up the snipe, not when I won the auction?

Hey, at least I won! Thank you Gixen!!

It is intended to be the final auction price.

However, it has to be set by a later process than placing the snipe. In order to take account of any bids that were scheduled later than yours Gixen must check the price after the auction has finished... which is a few seconds after the bid must be sent to Ebay.

I imagine what happened in this case is that the placing of the bid worked fine, which is the important bit... but, for some reason, the later attempt to retrieve the auction price did not work. It is a failure, but fortunately not a significant one, in this case.

That answer's more interesting than I expected, Cupid, thanks. I must admit, the discrepancy between the two gave me a head scratching Scooby Doo moment LOL! Razz

Merry Christmas, Cupid! Good health in the New Year!
