Hi
I had entered a winning bid, but Gixen reported a "EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT".
What is causing this, so I can avoid it next time?
I am on Mirror-support.

Is that status on both the Main and Mirror tab?
If so it was probably down to a short term issue with Ebay that Mario mentioned on this thread:

Ebay certainly has ongoing issues, at the moment.
I thought they started after you posted your original question, but perhaps not.

If the problems started at 03:20 PDT, then my sale was just after at 03:31
