|
|
I have been entering about 50 or so bids through csv upload i have done quite few now. Am noticing that it is not working keep getting
Could not add this item - auction number or money format not valid.
This snipe may have been entered too late into Gixen and may not be executed.
Item number 131282042414 Tried numberous other items did not wrok on any. I had some trouble in the past with font, spacing ect but finally perfected it with a blank csv file with values set and getting same thing. Will even download CSV save it and try to upload and exactly the same. Any ideas what is going on? |

I tried both website csv adding and desktop tool adding. It added the item but stated the item had ended. In fact there are many hours left! See this picture of a screen shot. I hope you get this worked out soon. If you need to contact me for anything or questions I will be checking this often so I can start bidding again. I know it is hard to see but item numbers match perfectly. Also Another note is. If I add this manually to gixen it adds it normally without a problem. The problem is i need to add about 50-100 items at a time |

If you look back through recent threads you will see that this problem has been reported by others that add via the web interface... so the issue does not seem to be specifically related to .CSV file uploads, but is more general...
It also seems to be intermittent making it one that is going to be hard for Mario to track down.. my experience and suggestion has been that persistence pays rewards...
I have not yet found any auction that will not schedule properly with a bit of judicial use of the Edit and Modify buttons, without altering any snipe values. _________________ Mark |

There's a lot of mediocrity being celebrated, and a lot of wonderful stuff being ignored or discouraged.
Sean Penn
1. If you add items to your watchlist and bid on them before they will not be imported to gixen.
2. The csv upload working is random and sometimes does not work. the developer is unable to fix the problem.
3. If you pay for service and something will not work you will be advised to use the version of the program that you can use for free anyway.
Honestly for a reliable good working program i am willing to pay 15-20 even 30 dollars per year. So far I am sad I spend 6.
Quit whining that 6$ is a good deal and you get a lot for your money. I NEED RELIABILITY. Fix the problems and charge people $15-20 and quit sweating the small stuff. |

Oh Dear,
Does that kind of attitude normally get you positive results?
On here it comes across really badly. _________________ Mark |
