Hi Mario,
I have subscribed to your GIXEN mirror.
I lost my bid through your snipe system on item number 370972373414. I won the auction anyway by manual bidding. Can you give me an answer/s as to why this situation occurred.

Mark, by bidding manually before Gixen you did not give Gixen a chance to submit the bid. When you submit a bid manually before Gixen, Gixen will display status "BID UNDER ASKING PRICE". This is normal. In fact, it's common with mirror to see one server with status "WON" and another with "BID UNDER ASKING PRICE".
If you do not trust Gixen enough and want to test it, bid after Gixen, e.g. set Gixen's offset to 8 seconds, and submit your bid manually at 5 or 6. |

Yes, I agree with Mario...
To confirm what happened for yourself you should try first submitting your bid manually than try submitting another bid of the same amount (or less) on the same auction... You will find that Ebay prevents you doing it... and that is the situation that occurred for Gixen on this auction.
