|
|
I am a regular Gixen user and just noticed today that the "Import Gixen list" button was missing when I went to click on it...I did some digging and no one else reported this.
I usually use IE 9.0 and even tried Chrome, no button.
The Import Watch List button and Purge Completed button, Settings and Logout buttons are all there.
Ideas? |

Ebay changed their listing options now that they started with the 'collection' stuff and I don't have the option to add an item to an other list then watchlist. So I think Mario removed it because it doesn't have much use anymore. |

Huh...funny. I still have the option to add items to additional lists and use it regularly. (I just added something a minute ago, see example image below of item #121221176315.) I don't see much having to to with "collections" on the page I see. I guess I'll still have to use the Gixen list and just add them manually...
Since this rather convenient feature has been done away with, is there a suggestion for how to load select items to gixen? (Ebay does a good job of hiding that item number!)

(I just got a cute message indicating that "HTTP Secure" links are on the naughty list in the Gixen forum, add an "s" after the http in the above link.) |

2tallhd.mx,
Frankly I didn't know that anyone was still using "Gixen list", vast majority of users found it to complicated to setup another list, and used watchlist instead.
I will see that I re-add it again later on, but first I have to sort out issues with the watchlist that some users are having. |

Wow, I had no idea...I really thought it was a smashing success!
Add to watch list if I am interested in it and if I REALLY want it and the auction is coming up in a few days, click on the drop-down and add to the Gixen list. Go to Gixen, import and whammo done! It was great!
Some auctions I just want to watch to see what the final price is or for some other reason...the Gixen list was fantastic buying decison-making tool.
Either way, with our without the Gixen list...Gixen is GREAT! I reccomend it frequently. Thank you Mario! |

It is funny how ebay is so different for all users. The screenshot that you show is from an 'older' version of ebay that changed for me a couple weeks ago. Now I only have the option to: Add to watch list & Add to collection. |

Oh man...don't scare me like that!
Ebay is horrible for making changes that established users don't like...like the * as a wild-card no longer works...that really hurt. |

2tallhd.mx,
I returned the "Import Gixen list" functionality. It seems to work fine in my tests now. |

Same problem for 3 days cannot import watch list.
examples eBay item number:251072799323 or eBay item number:190958059041. No bids yet on either |

markeys-zoo,
Both those are Buy It Now only items which can not be sniped, so you would not expect those to be imported from your Watch List. _________________ Mark |

Thank you Mario, worked like a charm....though it looks like my joy might be short lived if my fate is tied to Newbie12345's experience.
