Hi,
I'm fairly new to Gixen , I came across it after finding out about sniping , then subsecently sniping software (I know right .. Where have I been ? ). After a lot of research I decided Gixen was for me.
My first win with Gixen was this 151151931688 and I was over the moon .
But since I have been having a few issues with Gixen . I lost this item 261319722068 today and next to the item on Gixen it said 'Auction ended early or snipe late '.
I put my bid in it for GBP 15.74 and someone won it for GBP 14.51 so I was very disappointed as it was for my daughter !
I hope someone might be able to explain what went wrong !
Thanks ,
Hannah |

Hannah, in this instance Gixen was late. This is relatively rare even with free account, but it does happen. Approximately 1 of 200 to 1 of 500 snipes will be late. |

Mario is not pushy about the Mirror subscription... but it is true to say that with one (at only $6 per year) this becomes much less likely because two servers both try independently to place the snipe.
Then the chances reduce approximately to between 1 in 40,000 (200x200) and 1 in 250,000 (500x500) of this happening. _________________ Mark |
