Bid Under Asking Price...But I Won Item

Why did I lose this auction?

I won the auction, so I don't understand why this says this, just curious, am happy that I did win!

Do you have a Mirror subscription?

If so, here is the usual reason for this scenario:

The Mirror server places the bid that wins the auction, the Main server tries to place the same bid a moment later, Ebay does not allow a second bid of the same amount and so informs the Main server that the bid is below the asking price, and that is initially reported back to you on the Main tab on Gixen.

If you look at the Mirror tab you see that the status there is Won... a while later the Mirror server informs the Main server that it won the item and the status is updated on the Main tab to 'Won By Mirror'.

This is normal operation designed to ensure that, when sniping, the two Gixen servers work independently of each other.

If you click on "Gixen Mirror - Miami" tab, you should see "WON" status. The main page, however, should show "WON BY MIRROR" or something similar. Do you use the web interface?
