Was this snipe Mirrored?

If so, what was the status on the Mirror server?

what means "Mirrored" and " status on mirror server"?

Mirrored is the option to have two servers working for you and greatly increases the reliability of the service... without it perhaps one in 300 snipes will encounter issues such as the one you experienced with this snipe, with the Mirror option those problems are almost unheard of.

The option costs $6 per year, so if you don't know what it is I would guess that you do not have it enabled. If you had it, you get a status on each server, by looking at the different tabs, for the Main and Mirror, often the status is different on a different server and that can tell you more about what happened with the bids that the servers tried to place.

So back to your snipe, I think you were unlucky as it happens rarely even with the free service, but will be due to an error in the connection between the Gixen main server and ebay. It is usually because ebay is busy at the moment that your bid is to be placed.
