Hi
I just renewed my mirror subscription, - Your Gixen mirror subscription expired on Mon, Dec 10, 2012 - but it is not registering. I used a different PayPal email address.
I wont put the whole transaction number here for security, however, part of it is: 28 Jan 2013 17:34:05 GMT Transaction ID: 54W76........581E last part of my post code 4AD - could you please apply it to my account (asap).
Thank you. Also, my desktop Gixen is not loading, I am wondering if this is out of date so I will search your site for an update; it just says 'connecting to Gixen' |

| Now when I sign in it says our mirror subscription expires soon (Thu, Feb 7, 2013). ... weird!! |

This is probably due to you using a different email address for your Paypal account... did you format the payment in the same form as it would have come from your original Paypal account?... the process picks up the eBay account that the payment is associated with from that...
When a payment is made Gixen associates the email address that you use with the Gixen account... so if you first use one and then renew with another the email address will need changing on the account.
It is probably best to email Mario at the support address and give him the details of the two different email addresses that you have used as well as the eBay id that they are associated with.... I presume it isn't 4AD as that seems too short to be an eBay id?

| Thanks, I will email him. I made the payment with a totally independant email address and didn't give it a second thougth :-/ ... school boy error! |

Your email address is not a problem at all - Paypal is having issues at the moment, so Gixen is not receiving IPNs (Payment Notifications) from Paypal. They are working on resolving this (https://www.x.com/content/update-3-issue-receiving-instant-payment-notifications-ipns-jan-27).
I am manually granting 10 free days of mirror to all users who make a payment so that you can use mirror until Paypal resolves this, which I assume will take several hours. I will grant you mirror shortly. You will have to edit your snipes to get them copied over to the mirror server. |
