bidding in different ebay site

Hi, I want to bid on an item in ebay.com

I am registered in ebay.co.uk and have bid several times using gixen.com with success on ebay.co.uk

Now that I want to bid on ebay.com should I made any change in the gixen settings? So far in gixen settings I use the following settings even if I am located in Greece but sometimes I bid with primary postage address in UK.

Note: The two settings above determine to which ebay country site snipes are sent to, from the main, and from the mirror server respectively. Search the forum to understand this setting. If you are not sure what these should be set to, leave it at its default values (United States), regardless of which country you reside in.
Note: You will have to re-enter (or edit) all your snipes after changing this setting for changes to take effect.

Should I change something or is it everything OK?

The first setting that you have set to the United Kingdom only changes where the links on Gixen point to that makes no difference to the bidding at all.

The second setting for 'Target' is the one that affects which ebay site Gixen bids on... since you have that set to 'United States' you have already been bidding on .com not co.uk when you set up snipes in Gixen.

You don't need to change anything, all auctions in the United Kingdom can be bid on via ebay.com as well as ebay.co.uk... the only difference that it makes comes if you ever want to open a dispute about a transaction... ebay forces you to open disputes on the site where the bid was placed.

Also note that where bids are concerned ebay uses your primary address to decide where you are.. and not your dispatch address ... the only way to affect which bids are accepted, and which are not, with respect to your location is to set up ebay accounts that have primary addresses in the countries you want the sellers to ship to.
