It seems that Gixen went down right before an auction finished and I had just paid for the Mirror service too... lost an auction to only 4 dollars...  |

I had the same problem. Gixen didn't bid at all and when I tried to log in to Gixen around 8pm HST it would time out. I also subscribe to the mirror site so I am very disappointed. The auction number was 150880501065. |

| ran-d, I understand your disappointment, but if ebay itself is down, unfortunately there is nothing Gixen can do, with mirror or not. This happens rarely, so you've been very unfortunate this time. |

Hi Mario, understandable but why wouldn't I be able to access the Gixen site? |

Gixen verifies your password with ebay when you log in. It doesn't do it every time (as it keeps a hash to avoid doing it too often), but it does verify it if a hash expires. If eBay is not accessible, it can't verify your password and it will not let you log in. You likely saw Gixen "hanging" when trying to log in, and then some error message. It was Gixen waiting for ebay to respond. |

I was unable to get to the Gixen home page to even attempt to log in with ebay. |

| That must have been an unrelated issue of some kind, because I have no indication that Gixen itself was down. I've received no other reports of it either. |
