If you are in the UK, it's beneficial to have the server with larger offset (=the one that sends the bids first) set to UK due to different US/UK insurance policies. Dispute resolution is different on ebay.com and ebay.co.uk, and coverages may be different. This matters only if something goes very wrong with the purchase.
It is, however, beneficial to have the server with smaller offset (e.g. mirror) set to US, because ebay rarely, if ever, changes UI at the same time on ebay.com and international sites. So it's safer in case that UI gets changed, and subsequently, sniping broken. |
