|
|
I had logged on to my gixen account a few times yesterday, then yesterday evening I tried to log on and this is the message I get every time I try to log on since then:
"Session expired. Please sign in again."
What happened? I have cookies enabled with gixen added as an allowed site but it absolutely will not let me log on. I know my logon ID and password are correct. |

Have you tried deleting the existing Gixen Cookie and see if that helps? _________________ Mark |

Yep, I tried that and it did not work.
I just tried typing an s in the address and it finally took it after also typing in the forward slash with a period a php a question mark and equal sign and then username and it took it. It will be a pain to have to do that every time as it just won't save to my desktop or favorites with the correct and secure address. |

I don't fully understand here what you are doing.
What page are you trying to log in from? |

I don't know enough about computers to properly explain what I did because when I try to type out in this forum exactly what address I used to log on, it won't accept and post the reply. This forum says you cannot put htt..... in the wording. Basically, the Gixen address keeps coming up on my computer without the s in the htt... part of the address. If I add the s then it will let me log on to my account. Without the s, it will only let me see the home pages. I don't know why it suddenly leaves out the s now. Perhaps a computer glitch or website glitch (does not happen with any other websites I go to)?
Sorry: I am probably only confusing you more.
Thanks! |

There is no S in the htt...part ~ gixen.com/home_2.php?username= |

Try a different browser. Maybe your computer saved something and is interfering with your log on. Don't waste a bunch of time understanding it, just try it in a different browser. |

I have the same problem which can only be overcome by adding the s in the address bar and re-entering. I tried to post a more detailed explanation but it was rejected because the first word in the address bar is on the spam list. It makes it extremely difficult to talk about adding an s to something that you are not allowed to talk about. |

OK, try again now, I allowed posting of links. I am really interested in this... You should never have to add an "s", not sure why you are doing it? |

With Firefox-Browser I can only login, if I type the URL https://gixen.com
Typing URL http://gixen.com result in error notice "Session expired. Please sign in again."
With Internet Explorer it doesn't matter. |

I wish I could replicate the problem. I use Firefox almost exclusively and never get this. What is your username? |

I wonder if there is some virus protection software that is intervening with the process for these Gixen users? _________________ Mark |

One aspect that may have some bearing is if your computer has the wrong date or time. _________________ Mark |
