Hi my bid was not placed and it came back with error message : Sign in information is not valid.
I have not changed my ebay log in and Gixen logged in to ebay smoothly
before and after the auction ended so I have no idea what the problem is.
The ebay item number is: 360386443520
Thanks! |

There is no doubt that the password for this snipe was incorrect, I just checked the logs. Gixen keeps hash of your password, so it's possible that you can log in with an old password long after you changed it on ebay. Is this possible?
Email me, we probably need to take this off forum. |

I did change my ebay password a month ago but does the fact that I was able to log on to Gixen to add the auction yesterday mean that Gixen has the correct ebay log in to proceed?
Thanks for replying so quickly, Gixen Rocks! |

The way Gixen works it only checks that your password is correct with eBay when you log in here with a different password from one you have used before. So if you have never logged in with your new password Gixen will not know about it.
If you logged in with your current eBay password then it will have been updated here and you should be fine with all the snipes that you have scheduled since then.
As Mario said, if you want more details it is best to email him. _________________ Mark |

Ok, I think that was what happened then.
Thanks for the explanation. |
