Hi and thank you for taking the time to address my questions.

I, too, was faced with the cookie issue when trying to join gixen with google chrome on windows 7.

I read through many of the cookie issues posts in your forums, but did not find the answers I needed.
1)Can you tell me exactly how to enable cookies (or just allow for gixen) in Google Chrome?

Also, I was a big Firefox fan previously, but now it takes SOOOO long to load on newer Windows 7 laptop.
2) I prefer Firefox...any ideas as to why it would be so slow? (Would taking it back to the big box store be the easiest way to resolve?)
3) If I can resolve the speed issue & go back to Firefox, then I would have the same question regarding cookies.

Once gixen is installed (or gixen mirror), can it be used on multiple browsers or only the one on which it was installed?

Thank you so much.
I look forward to joining your site.

I can only attempt to answet a few of your questions.

In Firefox you can enable cookies on the Window that comes up when you select the Tools->Options menu option, then you select Privacy at the top and the options are on that page.

Gixen should work with all browsers that support standard internet protocols, that should include Chrome, but since I have never used that browser I can not tell what issues there may be with configuring it.

Yes Gixen can be used on multiple browsers.

For the slow Firefox issue you would probably be best consulting a forum that is dedicated to supporting Firefox.

Thanks! I am researching the firefox issue now. Seems to be too many add-on things (Shared computer).

I appreciate your help.

Create a separate account with your own Firefox (and add-ons) so you don't have to carry all add-ons you don't need and don't use.
If you can't, you can make Firefox running with your own profile with your own set of add-ons.
