| Sofar I'm very pleased with Gixen, but yesterday something weird happened. My items' (260725762646) highest bid was 74. I entered a maximum bid of 87 in Gixen. Today I saw that there were only 2 bids made. Mine (87) and a higher bidder (89). I thought Gixen would start with 76 f.i. and then raise until maximum of 87. Did I do something wrong?? |

There is nothing wrong with that operation. Gixen submits your maximum bid however it is eBay that decides what the auction price will be as a result of that bid, if there are only low bids on the item and you win you will only have to pay a maximum of one bid increment more than the next highest bidder. In this case there was already another higher bid so yours was used to increase the auction price but you did not win. This is how eBay works.
