I agree, expanding the current FAQ page would be a good idea.

While it's always annoying when bids don't go, keep in mind that you can never know if you would have won. You may have set up a bid higher than the winning bid, but your bid still may have been less ...

I don't use 'Groups' or 'Contingency Groups' ... because everything I attempt to snipe I want to win.
