I find it faster to use the web interface and add them manually i.e. not via first importing a list from Ebay.

It shouldn't be too slow, but each step will take a few seconds at least. As for the price refresh frequency, you can set this in GDM settings.

Post subject: new user - why so slow?
I am new to this so maybe I am doing it wrong. I paid my $1.00 downloaded the gixen desktop app. Created a gixen list of items to bid on. Downloaded that to the desktop app. Now...I want to just bang through this and enter my max bids. It appears I have to click on each auction, hit edit, put in my max bid then update that which then takes what seems like quite a while to refresh and allow me to move on to the next item. Is that how it is supposed to work? It needs to be a faster application I want to just enter all the bids an then it can refresh on its own time? How do I do this faster?
