Your bid was placed just before the end of the auction at 30 Sep 2018 at 7:32:04PM BST, the winning bid was placed at 26 Sep 2018 at 2:13:41PM BST.
Your bid was not the higher of the two, it was exactly the same as the winning bid.
The rule on Ebay is that earlier bids of the same amount outbid later ones, so Gixen is correct.
Had you bid a penny more you would have won at your maximum bid amount.
This is why I bid odd amounts on auctions I want to win.

Hi there, there were only 2 bids for the item, and mine was the highest at ÂGBP 20. The item was won at ÂGBP 20 (my bid) but it says I was outbid, despite my bid being the higher of the two. How could that be? Thanks.
