kai,
You have understood what the Gixen user did and the outcome correctly,. You are also right about why it happened that way.
It is how Ebay works, nothing to do with what Gixen does.

Hi, I just wanted to clarify what you mean by "best bid at $320" does this mean that you set your bid on gixen as $320 but you won at $311 because gixen allows you to win by the maximum value of 1? as in the highest bidder below you was at $310? Sorry English is my secondary language so I just wanted to make sure I understood this correctly.

Thank you Cupid.
You're right. It worked like this, I won at 311$, my best offer set at 320$
Thanks Gixen! 8)

You are correct in thinking that Ebay only makes you pay, at most, one bid increment more than the next highest bid.
The fact that you bid via Gixen makes no difference to that.

Post subject: Winning bid: at full amount or at minimum increase?
This is not about an issue, instead is a help request, to better understand what I'm going to do.
I am using Gixen for the first time in these hours.
I fixed my offer to $ 300, that's not a good deal , while $ 250 would be.
Suppose that the latest offer to overcome both its $ 250: if I use the service ebay, I would win and I would pay 251$, since the Ebay system automatically increases the offer only the minimum .
I wonder if this is also applicable using Gixen, or if the amount i would pay is exactly what I had fixed on gixen (In my case $ 300)?
I hope I am posting in the right place on the forum, if not I apoligize.
Any help welcome :D
