Your bids have to be more than one increment higher than the current bid, it's not enough that they are just higher.

I have two yellow items and my max bid is higher than the current bid.
Something is maybe wrong. :(

Red you will see when you edit snipes. Yellow is an indicator your maximum bid is below current price.

Hi. A newbie question, I know. But why do some of my listings appear with a yellow background and sometimes red in Gixen? I have been assuming it is related to time left?
