Can you at least give one item for which sniping failed? I would like to see what happened first.

Of course it is not Ebay's intention to discourage any genuine bids... their aim is to detect the attempt to hijack users accounts and stop it... Unfortunately the methods that sniping services must use to place bids look quite like those illegal attempts so they get caught in the crossfire of Ebay's attempts to do the right thing by its users.
It is also not in Gixen interests either to have snipes fail as it discourages people from using the service at all and is not an inducement for them to spend what most think is a tiny amount of $6 per year for the Mirror service.
Please let someone know which snipes have failed for you, both to back up your story, but more importantly so that someone can help you to get your account into a state where they no longer fail for you in the future.

Post subject: snipe fails
Probably about 10 today so far. Whoo boy ebay sure must hate money to make it so hard for people to snipe with all these security measures you guys keep telling us they're making. It's funny every policy ebay has is to encourage bidding but gixen comes along and tells us ebay is to blame for these failures. Hmm really makes you think. Well not me I made my mind up a long time ago what it's all about
