No, if you can see it on your local site you can bid on it... and so can Gixen.
Note that you always specify snipe amounts, and Gixen always bids, in the currency of the auction... that may be different from the default currency of your local site.
More generally, if you can successfully add the snipe to Gixen then it should be able to bid on that item... That excludes other blockages that are imposed by the seller, of course, those apply which ever site you bid from.

Post subject: Snipe on auction on foreign ebay site
Hi, I am in the UK and wish to add a snipe for an item on the french site (Ebay.fr), though the item is on my watch list on the UK site (Ebay.co.uk). Do I have to change my settings so it points at the french site in order for my Gixen bid? Thanks
