After the auction was complete Gixen showed that my snipe had been successful in winning the auction (by the Mirror). However, eBay showed that the auction had been one by another bidder at a lower price (GBP 10.51) with their bid being placed six seconds before my snipe was due to be placed. <br /> <br />I could understand it if I had not won the auction because the offset had been set to close to the auction finish and the bid was not made in time to be registered and win the auction.
