Post Script
Re-scheduling one item from the remaining canceled group does not affect the status of the remaining items within the group. They remain canceled until individually edited.

Okay, won my first Group bid.
The remaining items within the group were
not
deleted. Their reported status went from "SCHEDULED" to "CANCELED". To reschedule an item, all that was needed was to edit the item and save it by clicking the modify button. I didn't even need to change the group number to have it re-scheduled!

Thanks, Mike!
Yes, the "Comments" option is a godsend. 😊
But it gets crowded with other information that I add to the bid item, so a separate field for entering shipping costs would be nice.

Are you aware that there is an option to add a comments field to your snipes (since you already have a Mirror subscription), it just needs to be enabled on your 'Settings' page before it can be seen.

Thanks for the tip, Mario! :D
While history archiving would be nice, personally, I'm looking forward to more mundane improvements, like the option of sorting of grouped items together or adding a column (or cell) for user-entered shipping costs.

I intend to make history available to mirror subscribers soon, but not just yet. In the meantime the best way to keep your history is to turn on email notifications on the settings page. That way you will receive status of all your bids before they are deleted.
As for group bids, it's impossible to cancel them across different servers if one of them goes down. Even worse, in such situation it's impossible to check the status of them and know whether to continue bidding or not. Hence they are available from the main server only. If an item is so important to you that you shouldn't ever miss to bid on it, it shouldn't be group in the first place, so your reasoning is correct.

Post subject: Group, Mirror, and History Questions
I generally group items by price range, but the differences between items might be significant enough for me to want to purchase more than one. What I'd like to know is, if I win one item in the group, are the remaining group bids merely canceled (and I can simply re-enter new bid amounts) or are the remaining group items deleted (and I have to re-enter the items starting from scratch)?
When I place an item into a group, it disappears from the "Gixen Mirror - Miami" page. Does that mean that if the Chicago server goes down, the mirror service does not apply to the group item? If that is the case, then shouldn't I remove the group designation from all items that I consider high priority bid items - just to make sure that the bids are secured through the mirror server?
After a day or two after the auction ends, the Gixen item disappears from my list of scheduled bids. I assume that there is no way to recall this history, am I correct in this assumption?
(That would mean that if I want to keep records of what I've bid on, I need to manually do so - either via the Gixen Desktop Manager or by some rather tedious cutting&pasting.)
