This is completely normal - bid increment in that price range is $5, not $2.50. eBay will not even accept bid that doesn't meet bid increment rule and you will not see it in the bid history.

Post subject: auction loss question
I used Gixen and put in a high bid of 330.00. The winning bid was for 325.50, when I look at the bid history I don't see my acccount in list. The last update I did was about 5 minutes before auction expired. Auction was 221468286670 reason for loss was BID UNDER ASKING PRICE: EBAY BID INCREMENT RULE NOT MET ( I read rules and 2.50 should still been an available increase.) I also opted in on the mirror site if that makes any difference)
Why did I lose this auction?
