Next time please let me know what the item id is when this happens. I'd like to investigate it further.

Post subject: item marked ENDED when it ain't
Before investing in any product, I try to hit its forum (if there even is one) to see what the community is complaining about. Having perused the last 50 or so t-o-p-i-c-s (spam word) on this forum, I would like to commend Mario (site admin) with a nod to Cupid for regularly checking in and explaining and solving problems. Thank you guys!
Now on to my issue with GDM. After adding a currently listed Item ID, its status came up as ENDED which is not the case. This happened twice today with different items. Sorry, I didn't jot down the item numbers but Mario is good about checking the logs. I deleted them and re-added them and it was fine. So there's a workaround but thought I'd give you a head's up. Perhaps ERROR or TIMEOUT would make for a better Status indicator.
