Luc, if your bid is already below the current high bid when the auction end time comes, eBay will not even accept your bid. It will never show up in the bid history.
Try submitting a bid that's lower than the current price on any auction and you will see that eBay will not accept it.

Post subject: Bid under the asking price, but no info on my ebay over thi
First of all, thanks for answering all the user questions, and patience with us, but its nice to see that there is actual up to date feedback. "RARE" as often marked at ebay:-)
So here is mine.
Item ID: 221186355423
ENDED, 32.85, 42.06 BID UNDER ASKING PRICE.
I can imagine that in the last seconds my bid was already to low.
But on "My ebay" there i find no info over my bidding or the result.
Also no mail "Sorry etc"
Why is this?
Apparently the seller had a minimum price in mind.
How can i know if the item is sold for the last bid, the 42,06?
Or how can i trace these if there are no messages, other than on Gixen?
Or is it an ended auction, with no sell....which would make it interesting to contact the seller.
Thanks for your answer.
Greetings,
Luc
